Parish Survey – Reminder

If you haven’t already, please take the time this weekend to complete the Slingsby, Fryton and South Holme Parish Survey!  We really want your responses and opinions and this survey will form the heart of decision making by the parish in the next 5-10 years, so please make your voice heard.

The survey is available online (via the link https://bit.ly/3RELVWO or by scanning the QR code on the poster) and in paper (collect from the church or club, or in The Triangle).

If you need any help completing it please contact the Parish Council!

Friends of Slingsby School are holding a Bag2School collection on Friday 4th November. Bag2School collect unwanted clothing and accessories, soft toys, bed linens etc, and make a payment to FOSS per kg collected.  A full list of items that can and can’t be donated is available at bag2school.com, along with more information about where the items go to.  Any donations would be gratefully received on The Green by 9am on Friday 4th November or contact us at [email protected] if you need assistance with items to be collected and we will do our best to help.  These collections are a great boost to our fundraising and we are very appreciative of your support.

Parish Survey 2022 – Deadline Extended!

The latest date for submission of Parish Survey returns has been extended from 30 September to Friday 21 October.

The response so far has been a little disappointing. If you have not already submitted a return, we strongly advise you to do so. The local organisers of the survey and our Parish Councillors really need to hear from as many households in the Parish as possible.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to influence future decisions! These would include amenities, services, development and the environment.

All data will be treated anonymously. You will not be identifiable.

You can complete the survey online, by following this link: https://bit.ly/3RELVWO or by scanning the QR code on the poster.

OR collect a paper copy from the Sports Club, The Grapes, Village Hall or Church, and return it to the Sports Club post box.

Please complete the survey no later than the revised date of 21 October 2022.

Problems completing the survey? Please contact the Parish Clerk on [email protected]
