Hovingham’s next Repair Café and Community Hub is coming up on Saturday 8th June, 10.00-12.00 noon at Hovingham Village Hall. Our volunteer fixers will do their best to mend or advise about your repairs, free of charge. Our experienced fixers include bikes, joinery, jewellery, sewing, computers/technology, electrical, toys etc.
We’ll also have FREE bags, aprons, pan scrubs, fiddle quilts, children’s dresses, pet beds and zip pouches created from unwanted fabrics.
In the Community Hub, you can find out more about air source heat pumps (on display), the community’s thermal imaging camera, grants available for renewables, electric car charging, discounts on loft insulation and more.
