Swinton Brass band will be playing festive tunes and Santa arrives for an hour at 11am with gifts for the children so bring the whole family.

There was also some more good news as Hovingham market has won yet another award from the National Market Traders Federation – Britain’s Most Improved Green Market
Hovingham Market beat off strong competition from markets located throughout the country.
In a press release, Mark Woolley, chair of the Hovingham Market Group, said “to win this prestigious award is fantastic recognition for our community’s achievements in its continued efforts to run a green and sustainable local village market.
