Slingsby Pumpkin Trail

Rather than knocking on doors and giving out sweets this Halloween, we’re hoping that you can join us by making a “Pumpkin Trail” by putting a pumpkin or picture of a pumpkin in your window from Thursday 29th until Saturday 31st October. Children can follow the trail and spot pumpkins. Parents/carers can then give children sweets/treats.

Not only can the trail be done during daylight hours, the creation of the pumpkin can also be a great wet weather activity too!

Please let me know if you’re interested in either taking part by displaying a pumpkin so we can add you to the trail map or if you would like a trail sheet sending through.

If there is enough interest we may even be able to raise some money to be put towards the Slingsby Play Area. Donations are all completely optional, however should you wish to donate, there is a JustGiving page and there will also be donation boxes on the route.

Contact Joanna Plaskitt at [email protected] . Thank you!
