Hill Climb at Kilburn Saturday 11th July 2015 at 2 pm

nataliie bradleyPickering and District Motor Club Hill Climb at Kilburn on Saturday July 11th 2015 at 2 pm.

We have been sent the following details of this event, as former Slingsby School pupil Natalie Bradley is being supported by the Motor Club in raising funds for her expedition to Peru.

Hi, my name is Natalie Bradley. I am a year 10 pupil at Malton School. In 2016 I am going to go on an expedition to Peru where I will be helping build and improve facilities for the people living there. As part of my fundraising for this trip I will be helping my Dad and Pickering District Motor Club at their event next Saturday 11th July. The club is making a donation to my fund as a gesture of thanks for our family’s support and dedication to it. I would be very grateful if it would be possible to put this on the village website. Many thanks Natalie.

July 11th starting at 2pm sees Pickering & Dist Motor Club hold the annual Hill Climb at Kilburn. Described as a fun event with a mixture of modern and classic bikes and this year something a little different. Off road Hill Climbing at its best, a knock out competition or just a challenge against the hill. Natalie Bradley, daughter of long time club chairman and all time racer, Rob Bradley will be at the Hill Climb helping out where she can. After the club agreed to support her fundraising efforts for her expedition to Peru in 2016. Natalie said ‘Dad is usually doing something with bikes, be it riding himself or helping with running club events, that’s is how it has always been, he is not around much on a weekend. I have been to grasstracks but this will be my first time at a Hill climb. I’m not quite sure what I will be doing but Dad tells me that he will keep me busy’.
Anyone interested in riding can contact Dave Brown on 01904 622274 or find Pickering & District M/C on facebook.
