This is the first in the Arboretum’s season of open garden events, in aid of Arboretum funds. Details are on the Arboretum website HERE.
Slingsby Ladies Group will meet in the Methodist Chapel schoolroom at 7.15 p.m. on Tuesday 11th April.
Sandra Piercy will be presenting the “A to Z of quilting”.
Anyone considering joining the Group will be very welcome.

Sunrise Eucharist at 8 a.m. in Coneysthorpe Church
Easter Benefice Eucharist at 10.30 a.m. in Slingsby Church
Easter service at 10.30 a.m. in Slingsby Methodist Chapel, preceded by breakfast at 9 a.m. in the Chapel Schoolroom.
A few things you may want to know..
There is no fish and chip delivery on April 11th – this service from the Lions Club and the Methodist Church resumes (we hope) in the autumn, as usual.
The Grapes quiz night is one week later than normal, on Sunday 23rd April, to avoid Easter Sunday
The guided tours of Slingsby Church are on Saturday May 6th, not April 22nd as the church news sheet says.
